  • Choose comfortable, non-slip shoes or boots. Avoid sandals or open-toed shoes — safety and grip matter!

How long does the tour last?

The full trip usually takes around 1.5 hours , depending on sea conditions and wildlife activity. We ask that you arrive 30 mins in advance for your safety briefing.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes — we recommend booking ahead to secure your spot, especially during weekends and peak summer months . Spaces on the boat are limited.

Absolutely! Children are welcome. We recommend a minimum age of 7 or 1.2m in height due to the open water and the nature of the RIB. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Is it suitable for children?

We provide lifejackets and IMAX waterproof jackets & trousers to keep you dry and comfortable.
Dress in warm layers, and don't forget a hat and gloves — it can get chilly out on the sea!

You might catch a bit of sea spray — but that's part of the fun! Our gear will keep you protected and comfortable.

Will I get wet?

Safety comes first. If conditions aren't suitable, we'll reschedule your trip or offer a full refund. We'll keep you updated with as much notice as possible.

Yes — there is convenient pay parking available to both our locations in Greystones Marina and Dún Laoghaire Harbour.

Can I bring a camera or phone?

Absolutely! You'll want to capture the scenery and wildlife. Just make sure your device is secure and water-protected.

Are pets allowed on board?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed for safety reasons.

Is the tour suitable if I've never been on a RIB boat before?

Yes. Many guests are first-time RIB passengers. Before departure, our experienced skipper provides a full safety briefing and explains what to expect during the tour, ensuring everyone feels comfortable before leaving the harbour.

What wildlife can I see on a Dublin Bay Sea Safari?

Our tours take place within the Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere, one of Ireland's richest marine environments. Depending on the season and conditions, you may see grey seals, harbour seals, dolphins, porpoises, seabirds including gannets, cormorants, guillemots and occasionally basking sharks or whales. Because these are wild animals, every trip is unique and sightings cannot be guaranteed, but wildlife encounters are common throughout the year.
